Myrrh Gum, Cut & Sifted

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) is the dried sap of the Commiphora Myrrha tree, native to Yemen, Somalia and Ethiopia. It is used extensively in aromatherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayervedic medicine. It has a sharp, pleasant, somewhat bitter, vanillic fragrance and is often burned along with Frankincense.
 
Myrrh is a much beloved and important ingredient in our all purpose Green Healing Salve recipe.
